Girl, we’re in love with your golden heart! You’re easy to connect with and trust which is why people love working with you. See how you can combine your heart and content to grow a tribe of dream clients that love you and support each other.
The greatest gift is bringing people together and making them feel at ease. You have a heart of gold and are easy to connect with, which is why people feel comfortable sharing their personal experiences with you. As a nurturer, you perform best when you have a coach, a team, or a community waiting for you to show up.
On the flip side, you can become very unmotivated when you’re working by yourself. You never seem to hold yourself accountable just enough to finish things in time. When working on your content, try teaming up with somebody or join a co-working space.
Everybody experiences impostor syndrome, but it can keep you from leaping because you care about people so much, you think you’re not enough for them. Nurturers are often too hard on themselves, thinking they need to be the experts in order to help people, which is not true. Even if you know just 10% more than your audience, you can help them. People actually prefer working with somebody closer to their level because it’s easier to identify with them.
There are people who need your help out there, waiting for you to show up. Every time your impostor syndrome gets the best of you, dream clients follow somebody else’s advice – even if it’s bad. I know it’s uncomfortable, but they NEED YOU! So commit first! Announce what you’re doing before it’s ready, and when people show interest, you’ll be more motivated to actually deliver what you promised.
As a solopreneur, you’re there for your clients no matter what, but at the same time fail to show up for yourself more than you’d like. While you excel in meeting other people’s demands and deadlines, you struggle with keeping yourself accountable. When creating content for your own brand, think about getting an accountability buddy.
It’s okay and safe for you to say “NO”. Sometimes it is the most kind, caring, honest, and thoughtful thing you can do. Working over the weekend, working while sick, working on vacation, doing 3860 revisions is a no-go. Don’t let people guilt-trip you into it. I know you like to help, but you don’t have to twist yourself into a human pretzel to do so.
